Our first exhibition, our first meeting with international buyers, our first moment in the spotlight…

Some dates hold a special place in a brand’s journey. For us, F Istanbul, held at the Istanbul Expo Center on July 10–13, 2024, was one of those milestones. As Candy Star, we were taking part in an exhibition for the very first time, presenting our products on an international platform and experiencing the excitement of meeting buyers from different markets face to face.

Since our production journey began in 2010, we have put our hard work into our products, our care into the details and our dreams into our brand. At F Istanbul 2024, we brought all of this to our stand. That first moment when the colors and flavors created in our production facility met exhibition visitors was unforgettable.

From Production to the Exhibition Stage

Creating a product and representing it at an international exhibition are two complementary responsibilities. During this first experience, we had the opportunity to share our products alongside our approach to production, our brand’s story and our ambitions for the future.

As we introduced visitors to our lollipops, marshmallow varieties and colorful confectionery range, every conversation reminded us of the value of presenting Candy Star in our own words. Sharing the work behind our products, answering questions directly and seeing people’s first impressions made this gathering especially meaningful to us.

Telling Our Story Through Color

With our pink stand, rainbow colors and products displayed on the shelves, we stepped onto the exhibition stage for the first time, reflecting Candy Star’s cheerful world. Every corner of that stand meant something to us. After all the preparations, decisions and hard work, we were finally welcoming our visitors.

For four days, our stand became a meeting place where we shared our story, introduced our products and met new people. Beyond the shelves, tables and logos seen in the photographs, it represented the excitement and courage behind our first appearance.

Our First Face-to-Face Meeting with International Buyers

F Istanbul 2024 marked Candy Star’s first opportunity to meet international buyers face to face in an exhibition setting. Introducing our products to visitors from different countries, listening to their expectations and discussing potential partnerships helped us see our brand’s future from a broader perspective.

Every conversation offered a new opportunity to understand a different market. Buyers’ responses to our products, the questions they asked and the needs they shared provided valuable insights for our future work. While presenting our own products, we were reminded of the importance of listening and learning.

Taking part in this international environment for the first time, we felt both the responsibility and the pride of representing our brand as a manufacturer from Türkiye.

Our First Moment in the Spotlight

When we describe this exhibition, the phrase that comes to mind most often is “our first moment in the spotlight.” The brand we had worked on for so long was finally appearing before visitors on a stage like this.

We will always remember the excitement of opening our stand, welcoming our first visitor and introducing our products with pride. During those days, our dreams for Candy Star’s future began to take shape as more concrete questions and goals through the conversations we had.

We left the exhibition thinking about what we could improve, how we could prepare for different markets and how we could communicate our brand more effectively. In this way, our first exhibition gave us the opportunity both to introduce ourselves and to see our brand through the eyes of others.

A Lasting Memory in Our Journey

F Istanbul 2024 will always hold a place in Candy Star’s history as an event filled with firsts. It was our first exhibition, our first international exhibition experience and our first opportunity to meet buyers on this scale—all within the same event.

When we look at this photograph today, we see more than a stand with products arranged on shelves. We see the effort behind the preparations, the excitement of opening day and our hopes for the future. However far we progress in the years ahead, the meaning of this first appearance will remain with us.

We thank everyone who visited our stand, explored our products, shared their thoughts and became part of this first experience. We also remember with pride the contribution of every team member who worked on the preparations and supported us through to the final day of the exhibition.

For Candy Star, F Istanbul 2024 was our first step in bringing our colors to the international stage. With that same excitement, we continue to produce, learn and prepare for new opportunities to connect.
